About Ravens Hollow

Hi, I’m Carmen. My husband, Darren, and I are the owners of Ravens Hollow. We grew up in Flin Flon, Manitoba and never wanted to leave. The land on which Ravens Hollow sits has been in my family for a long time. However, it didn’t always look like this.

My parents lovingly and tirelessly created the waterfront property on White Lake you see today. A lot of hard work went into making the area more hospitable for visitors. My father loved to landscape and spent many hours on his beloved loader. Clearing away the thick brush and spending time here was always a labour of love.

When Darren and I eventually acquired the land from my parents, we started to develop the idea of opening it up to other like-minded people. We wanted to share our love of nature, animals, and earth-friendly living with people seeking a true Canadian wilderness experience.

In 2023, the dream became a reality.

Ravens Hollow welcomes travellers from near and far to enjoy our laid-back outdoor lifestyle. We like to think of it as a summer camp for adults, with all the luxuries an experienced glamper could ever want.

So what’s in a name?

My late mom had a way with animals. Birds in the area (particularly ravens) were drawn to her presence and adopted the area as a sanctuary. Her kind and generous spirit encapsulates the welcoming essence of this magical place.
